In this popular Japanese show, one season of which is now on Netflix, toddlers are sent by themselves on errands. Don’t stress – although the editing can make it look like they are completely alone, they are actually surrounded by camera operators and production assistants who are watching out for them (although the kids don’t realize that since the production crew are disguised as workers and housewives and the cameras are disguised as toolboxes). It’s amazing what these very young children can accomplish (with varying degrees of success) on their own. Charming and heartwarming, and at 15-20 minutes per episode, the perfect break.
