Poldark

A Masterpiece BBC drama.  Poldark tells the story of Captain Ross Poldark (Aiden Turner), an idealistic man always fighting against an unfair and difficult world when he returns to Cornwall after fighting for the losing side in the American Revolutionary War.  Ross is constantly in conflict with the scheming and wealthy Warleggans as he tries to help the poor people of Cornwall. The scenery is gorgeous, but the plots can be occasionally frustrating as a lot of the drama revolves around poor choices being made by Ross, his family and friends, often with the best of intentions.  Ross has never met a windmill he isn’t willing to tilt at.  The last season was rushed and disappointing.
